We are currently working on
a project to document and preserve the history of this former Lodge of Desert Trails Council (Imperial
Valley and Yuma), which was chartered in 1957, and merged in 1992.
We need your help to get
the facts straight. If you were in Pang Lodge, please drop me an email and let me
know what years you were in Pang, if you were in as a youth or adult, and if you were Ordeal, Brotherhood or Vigil.
Also where did you live while in Pang? What troop were you in?
Items we are looking for to help our project:
- Photos from lodge events
or meetings
- Any documents, minutes or notes
- Conclave booklets
- Patches, pins or neckerchiefs
- Names of others in the lodge from your
time, as well as who you recall the officers were.
- Your uniform (photos or actual item!)
- OA membership cards or certificates
- Pang flaps
-
Camp patches
- Community strips
What conclaves, powwows or fellowships
did you attend? What do you remember from them?
Any
tidbit of information could be useful. Proof is highly desirable, so any photos you may have to share that
we can use in the book would be appreciated! We have over 150 already!
My
goal is to publish my findings for the 100-year anniversary of the Order.
Please
help us preserve the history of our lodge before it vanishes!
Yours
